Philippine Airlines returns to Saipan with Manila flight in March 2026

Philippine Airlines (PAL), the flagship carrier of the Philippines, will resume its Manila-Saipan direct flight next year.

According to a release published by the leading online platform AeroRoutes, the Philippines’ full-service career will return to Saipan “in Northern summer 2026.”

The airline will launch twice-weekly flights starting March 29, 2026, operated by PAL Express Airbus A321 aircraft.

The flights, as reported by AeroRoutes, are scheduled as follows:

PR2571 MNL1945 – 0145+1SPN 321 37 PR2572 SPN0250 – 0505MNL 321 14

In 2016, PAL Express relaunched the Manila-Saipan nonstop service—a popular route among Filipino residents and foreign workers in Saipan and the rest of the Northern Mariana Islands. At the time, it operated twice-weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays.

By March 2017, about nine months after its relaunch, the route was reportedly shifted to seasonal operation.

This development comes on the heels of an earlier announcement by PAL that it is expanding its flagship Manila-Los Angeles nonstop service from 14 to 18 flights weekly starting June 1, 2026.
