(CNMI DOL) — The CNMI Department of Labor has announced the finalization of the online Job vacancy announcement certification process, aimed at providing a seamless experience for employers seeking JVA certifications.

In an ongoing effort to modernize and enhance accessibility, the CNMI DOL has launched a new digital platform, labor.cnmi.gov/, where employers can now conveniently access links and documentation required for official JVA certifications.

To obtain a JVA certification, employers are encouraged to visit the CNMI DOL website at labor.cnmi.gov (Important note: A JVA certification request can only be submitted once a JVA has closed).

To submit a request, click on “Post a Job” under “Employers” or click on “Job Vacancy Announcements” under “Employment Opportunities.” Once there, access the “Employers Declaration Form” located at the top center of the page. Click on  “Employers Declaration Form” to complete the form. Finally, select “Yes” under “Requesting for JVA Certification” to submit an online request. You can also access the form using this shortened link: https://bit.ly/4aMC1fI

Upon submission of the form,  CNMI DOL will review and verify the submission. Employers will receive an email confirmation and official verification form from DOL staff after this review. For ease of record-keeping, employers are advised to download their response as a PDF. Note that this document will not be official until a response is received from CNMI DOL.

“The implementation of this digital system marks a significant milestone in our efforts to streamline processes and enhance accessibility for our stakeholders,” said Eugene Tebuteb, director of employment services at CNMI DOL. “We are committed to providing efficient services to employers, and this initiative aligns with that commitment.”

For any inquiries or assistance regarding the submission process, employers are encouraged to reach out to CNMI DOL via email at info@dol.gov.mp/. CNMI DOL team is dedicated to providing support and ensuring a smooth transition to the new digital system.
