HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A 33-year-old man accused of sending nude photos to a 13-year-old girl has been convicted of criminal sexual conduct in the past.
Ernest Vincent Losongco Jr., is back in jail. He was committed to the Department of Corrections on Saturday. Bail was set at $10,000 as a result of the seriousness of the allegations against him.
“Officers reviewed … Instagram messages, which revealed that a male, later identified as Ernest Vincent Losongco, Jr., had reached out to (the minor) three times in November 2023 and once in December 2023,” a magistrate’s complaint filed in the Superior Court of Guam said.
The child reportedly does not know Losongco and asked him to stop messaging her, but in April, he allegedly reached out to her again. That’s when the girl told her mother.
According to the complaint, the mother of the girl began messaging with Losongco, under the guise that she was her daughter.
The mother allegedly told Losongco, “You know I’m only 13,” the complaint said.
Losongco allegedly replied, “I’m bored. I want to talk nasty, lol. U Down?”
The complaint said he asked the minor if she wanted a lewd photo of him, a “dick picture.”
“Without getting a response, the defendant then sent a photo of his erect penis,” the complaint said.
The Guam Police Department was contacted and when officers arrived they allegedly witnessed continued messaging from Losongco asking the minor to watch him perform lewd acts.
“(The) defendant attempted an audio call to (the minor.) When officers located the defendant, the defendant pulled his cellular phone out of his pocket and attempted to throw the phone away,” the complaint said.
The allegations led Losongco to be charged with indecent electronic display to a child as a third-degree felony.
According to court documents, Losongco was convicted of criminal sexual conduct in a 2012 case. He was also convicted of misdemeanor assault in 2016 and assault on a police officer, criminal trespass and theft in 2019.
The Guam Judicial Center is seen in Hagåtña on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024.
