THE 2024 Friends of Business Summit: CyberTech Edition took place at the Crowne Plaza Resort on Thursday, April 4, bringing together dozens of private sector representatives, government personnel and other community members. 

The event was organized by the CNMI Small Business Development Center Network. 

“The summit serves as a pivotal platform for sharing insights, fostering collaboration, and exploring the latest advancements in cyber technology,” said Nadine Deleon Guerrero, CNMI SBDC network director, in her opening remarks.

 “Together we’ll navigate through the complexities of cybersecurity, empowering businesses and individuals alike to thrive in the digital age,” she added.

The event was highlighted by keynote addresses from KRS Cyberworx, First Hawaiian Bank, the CNMI Office of Broadband Policy and Development, and the Community Development Institute.  

Breakout sessions included presentations from Pacific Pact, Xerox, TrueBeep, and AP Solutions. 

At 3 p.m., around 20 exhibitors participated in a tech business showcase.
