KOROR (Palau Horizon) — Incumbent Kayangel State Gov. Harris Kambalang has been re-elected.
Kambalang received 116 votes while his opponent Tadao Ruluked garnered 87 votes, according to the partial results released by the Election Commission.
Initial results showed that 215 or 67 percent of the total 322 registered voters cast their votes on May 28.
For the 12 state legislature seats, the winners are:

All are incumbent legislators except for Naito and Keity Bandarii.
Incumbent legislators Thomas Obak and Johnson Bandarii did not get re-elected.
Kayangel State also conducted a referendum on proposed constitutional amendments.
Majority of the residents agreed to extend the term of office of state legislators to four years—110 voted “yes” while 45 voted “no.”
