ALTHOUGH it doesn’t deserve a response, I will respond to Mr. Franklin Keiper’s retort to my earlier letter. First, let me say thanks for taking my advice Franklin and not signing your name with the Board of Education rep signature.
However, that being said, I suppose that was actually because the president of ACT, Mr. Rayphand, told you to resign your post as you were not representing teachers with your conduct. So in reply to your inaccurate and feeble attempt to undermine my earlier comments with your own, just so you know, I was not even here last year for the teacher representative vote. If you recall, I was taking a year off for my wife, so how could I have “lacked teacher support”? So much for that attempt. And as for the ACT meeting I called, yes it was I who called the meeting as indicated in the bylaws and as I was the only one who felt at the time as the MHS rep that we could start ACT up again. But first there had to be a meeting to be called and after careful discussion with the former BOE rep and the legal counsel, the meeting was held.
As for declaring myself, you certainly exposed yourself to be a liar in as much as you were there. We held a brief election of new officers and were to vote again as to the possibility of the president being the same as BOE rep or not as was the case earlier. The president at that meeting was Mr. Rayphand, the vice president was Mr. Ludwick, the secretary Ms. Sills, etc. So there were officers. As for me I clearly stated that their reason for calling the meeting was to start the ball rolling again as I felt it was needed. So I must say I was quite successful as the ball rolled all the way to a vote that inadvertently got you in the driver’s seat…without a license I might add. So get off the road and go home and quit lying to make yourself feel good.
Thanks for listening Franklin. And by the way, everyone who was present at my original meeting knows what really happened so nice try but it didn’t work.
