PAGO PAGO (Pacnews) — Travelers to and from Samoa will have to put up a bit longer with the inconvenience of flying to Faleolo Airport instead of Fagalii, which is closer to town.
Samoa’s Airport Authority has informed airlines that the upgrade work to Fagalii is taking longer than originally planned because of delays caused by heavy rains.
The Airport Authority has now set a tentative date of May 20 to reopen Fagalii airport.
