Waitresses file labor complaints vs night club

FOUR waitresses of Club 820 have filed labor complaints against their employer for alleged illegal deductions and for ordering them not to leave their barracks except during their day-off, documents showed.

The first complainant, Divine E. Bautista, filed her case on Feb. 8. Her case was referred to the enforcement section, according to papers from the Department of Labor and Immigration.

On March 7, second complainant Alma L. Limpios filed her labor complaint against Brian Reyes of Club 820. She settled for $2,500 and asked to be repatriated at her employer’s expenses.

Pamela A. Baez filed her case last April 25. The mediation hearing for her case has been scheduled for May 15 at 3 p.m.

Linda P. Aseo, who is also claiming illegal deductions and “barracks lock-in,” is set to appear on May 15 for a mediation hearing.
