KANOA and Shirley’s football clubs remain unscathed in the Tinekcha-Awaal (Premier) Division of the 2024 Dove Women’s League after collecting their third win against their respective opponents at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville on Sunday.
KNFC bagged their third win by beating Paire Football Club, 4-2.
KNFC established dominance early in the first half thanks to their constant defensive harassment. After 10 minutes of back-and-forth action, KNFC slipped past enemy lines with Irish Pagarao finding the back of the net. Their lead continued to grow after two more goals were delivered by Deseha Mendiola and Pagarao.
In the second half, PFC took over the role of the aggressor and was rewarded with two goals courtesy of Sharlette Casil and Tsubakiko Joab to cut the lead, 2-3.
KNFC then turned defense into offense with Kaithlyn Chavez delivering the decisive goal at the 60th minute mark to secure the win, 4-2.
Winner, too
