HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A 64-year-old man was accused of making “sexual advances” toward a 12-year-old boy since September.
Ferrel Naputi was charged Tuesday in the Superior Court of Guam with second-degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony and two counts of misdemeanor harassment.
According to the magistrate’s complaint filed with the court, Naputi’s charges stem from a complaint made Sunday by a 12-year-old male minor, who said he had been sexually assaulted by Naputi.
“The victim indicated that the defendant started making sexual advances toward him in September 2023. While on a car ride together, the defendant interlocked his fingers with the victim’s fingers and held his hand. The victim found this strange. From October to December 2023, the defendant would ask the victim for kisses,” the complaint stated.
On Christmas Day, Naputi allegedly approached the victim while he was seated on a recliner at Naputi’s Sinajana residence. According to the complaint, Naputi asked the minor “if he could kiss him on the cheek and lips.” The minor said no, but Naputi kissed the minor on the lips anyway.
The minor also reported to the Guam Police Department on Sunday that he was in his room when Naputi “asked the victim if he could kiss him, and the victim said no.”
“The defendant then kissed the victim using tongue. The defendant then groped the victim’s penis and buttocks over his clothing. The victim exited the room to get away,” the complaint stated.
However, later that same day, Naputi allegedly entered the minor’s room and asked if they could kiss again, but the victim’s mother entered the room and asked why Naputi was in her son’s room.
