CNMI Emergency Operations Center State Warning Point, in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas (N3) Guam, would like to inform the general public that the military will be conducting training on Tinian and in the open ocean from March 4 to 10, 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Training will take place on and in the vicinity of Tinian’s exclusive military area, and in the open ocean.
Marine vessels are advised to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories, and remain clear of the areas for the duration of the events.
Gov. Arnold I. Palacios is advising residents in the areas surrounding the training exercises that they should not be alarmed if they hear or see increased training activity.
