Cabrera, 19, pleaded not guilty to the charges of assault, assault and battery, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
Assistant Attorney General Steve Kessel appeared for the government while Assistant Public Defender Jean Pierre Nogues represented Cabrera.
Finding no other pending matters, the judge also scheduled a pretrial conference for Nov. 18, 2020 at 10 a.m.
According to court documents, Cabrera on June 17, 2020 threatened to kill a male household member and struck the household member with his hand.
Cabrera also pulled away and kicked the arresting police officer, court documents added.
Cabrera was not arrested, but a penal summons was issued to him to appear before Presiding Judge Roberto C. Naraja on Aug. 3.
