4 vie for BOE seats, 2 judges, 1 justice seek retention

The Saipan BOE candidates are Maisie B. Tenorio, founding member of the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence; Epifanio Cabrera, administrator of the Office of Grants Management; attorney Stephen C. Woodruff; and Gregory Pat Borja.

The two current BOE members, Janice Tenorio and MaryLou Ada, have already served two terms and cannot seek a third under the CNMI Constitution.

Seeking retention are Judge Kenneth Govendo, Presiding Judge Roberto C. Naraja and Associate Justice Perry Inos.

On  Rota, the candidates for the three-seat, non-partisan municipal council are Lorita Mesngon Manglona, Jim Michael Atalig, Jonovan Lizama, William Taitano, Michael Sikebert and Abraham M. Ogo.

On Tinian, the municipal council candidates are Thomasa Palacios-Mendiola, Joseph Evangelista Santos and Michael Napu King Aldan.

On Saipan, there are only two candidates for the municipal council: incumbent members Ana Demapan Castro and Antonio M. Tudela.
