PHASE 1 of the Garapan Revitalization Project is still underway, despite an original April deadline to complete construction.

According to Variety files, Phase 1 affects Paseo De Marianas, Plumeria Road, Micro Beach Road, Ginger Avenue, Coconut Street, Coffee Tree Mall, Cpl. Derence Jack Road and Royal Palm Avenue.

The construction improvements were supposed to be done in April, but drainage issues resulted in a delay that pushed back the completion to May.

Variety files also state that the Garapan Revitalization Project will create 350 new parking spaces; repair and repave streets; install new trees and landscaping; create bike lanes and more.

Variety reached out to representatives from the Office of Planning and Development for comment, but an official statement was not yet ready for the public.

As for the Department of Public Works, it referred Variety to OPD.
