“It is important to continue the cleanup activity, especially during the weekend when there are no government workers in the beach areas,” he added.

Compared to previous weeks, he said there was no household trash in the beach areas he visited recently.
Despite the presence of trash bins, he added, some beach users continue to litter.
“We need more information dissemination or we should discipline the people who are littering,” he added.
Also included in Aguon’s regular cleanup drive are the Chalan Kanoa cemetery and Sugar Dock Beach.
