Sixty-one KHS cadets trained 37 Leadership Core cadets.
The Service Learning Project involved three stations.
For the first station, Unarmed Drill and Ceremony, the students were taught basic drill movements and how to march.
The second station was Armed Drill and Ceremony using mock rifles. This station was centered around basic commands and the Fifteen Count Manual of Arms.
The third and last station was Color Guard. The students were taught the basic Color Guard movements and were given the opportunity to hold and experience the use of necessary equipment as well as the U.S. flag and CNMI colors.
The Service Learning Project of the Ayuyu Battalion was a major success. The middle schoolers had nothing but a positive experience, and they commented that they wanted KHS JROTC to visit them again soon.
