(NWS) — An extreme wind warning is now in effect for Northern Guam, including areas such as AAFB, Ritidian, Dededo, and Yigo. Residents are urged to take immediate precautions as Typhoon Mawar is expected to make its nearest approach. The warning will remain in effect until 6:45 pm.
In anticipation of the approaching typhoon, authorities have advised residents to stay updated on the latest developments by tuning in to NOAA Weather Radio on channel 211. Additionally, for those in need of mental health support during this challenging time, the Mental Health Hotline can be reached at 988.
