SAE Hee Kim emerged victorious in the CNMI Women’s Golf Association’s first tournament of the 2023 season on Saturday at the Coral Ocean Resort golf course.
Kim cleared the front nine with a gross of 40 and solidified her place at the top on the back nine by shooting a gross of 36 for a gross total of 76. With a handicap of 15, Kim secured a net score of 61 to win the tournament.
In second place was Yuko Togoawa who shot a gross of 39 on the front nine and 38 on the back for a gross total of 77. Aided by a nine handicap, her net score was 68.
