Sablan tops Belau batting leaders, Rangamar best pitcher

At 10 at-bats, Sablan who hit home run as he drove in two-run RBI during Choll A’s latest game against PIC last Sunday had eight base hits for the season to earn an average of .800. He had a total of five RBIs, five runscored and one home run for the season.

Leo Bobai who went 3-for-3 and had two RBIs as he helped Sai-Pal rout Haga-T, 12-3, during a game two Sundays ago hit six of his eight at-bats, averaging .750.

PIC’s Tommy Kerrington had seven hits out of 10 at-bats this season averaging .700. He was 4-for-4 in a losing effort against Choll A’s last Sunday as homered and hit an RBI.

Dave Kapileo who rallied with Bobai for Sai-Pal’s 12-3 victory against Haga-T having two go-ahead doubles and went 3-for-4, hit six in nine at-bats averaging .667.

Auel Auel’s Mel Aldan and Falcon’s Rodney Lifoifoi tied with Kapileo.

Dane Lizama of Ready Mix and Max Kadiasang of Auel Auel tied as they both hit five of their eight at-bats to earn an average of .625.

Lizama scored most the runs garnering six for the season.

Mendel Techur of PTI hit six of his 10 at-bats averaging .600 and Jeff Isaac of Ngiwal hit five of nine at-bats to average .556.

Jerry Ayuyu of Brotherhood hit three home runs for the season, and Jj Laniyo who hit a grandslam and six RBIs last Sunday topped the list of best RBI hitters.

Ben Taisacan of Auel Auel hit four doubles and Darwin Masaharu, Highness Asanuma, Mike Taitano, Kadiasang, and Jason Reyes hit triples for the season.

Rangamar who was Brotherhood’s winning pitcher against Koror Bombers in game two Sundays ago was the season’s best pitcher with 2.00 ERA in a total of 14 innings he pitched.

Henry Palacios of Ready Mix eked out 2.45 ERA in 20 innings and Leo Bobai, Sai-Pal’s winning pitcher of last Sunday’s game against Haga-T, pitched 20 innings and had 2.45 ERA.

Al Ngiraubuuch of Falcons pitched 13 innings, allowed 21 hits and earned 3.23 ERA. Lucian George of Auel Auel, 3.94 ERA; Mike Sablan of Man Amigos, 4.00; Mel Tudela of Haga T, 4.55; Ruben Olkeriil of PIC, 4.67 and John Terlaje of Ngiwal, 4.67.

In the Women’s League, Sakudi’s Pauline Tudela is the only batters in this division so far, who hit out of the fence home run and drove-in three-runs. She hit seven of seven at-bats and eked out an average of 1000.

Melissa Benjamin of Ohn Sakau also had a perfect five hits in five at-bats to have 1000 batting average.

Trailing them are Polly Omechelang of Esta Ombe with .833 batting average; Roquita Norita, of Ohn Sakau,750; Kuki Pangelinan of Atu’ Asi, .714; Pauline Camacho of Atu’ Asi, .667; Dolorina Panuelo of Ohn Sakau, .571; Kayla Techur of Sakudi, .571; Emma Tenorio of Sakudi, .571; Jenny Palacios of Sakudi, .500 and Merselyn Santos of Ohn Sakau, .500.

Felisa Brel of Hitters topped the pitching leaders with 1.40 ERA in five innings.

Bego Camacho, Sakudi’s  winning pitcher when they routed Esta Ombe, 13-2 during the latest game averaged 2.47 ERA.

Meng Yamada of Atu’ Asi struck out 10; Bego Camacho, seven; Arlene Sokau, six; Polly Omechelang, six; Dolorina Panuelo, four and Feliza Brel, 3.

Melissa Benjamin and Pauline Tudela topped the RBI hitters driving in a total of six runs for the season. Roquita Norita and Jovan Pangelinan hit five RBIs; Kayla Techur, Merselyn Santos and Polly Omechelang, four; Jenny Palacios and Dolorina Panuelo three.

Emma Tenorio scored most the runs with five runscored, Benita Seman hit two doubles and Jenny Palacios two triples.
