Power outage helps Ranger stretch Game 3

If not to the never-ending power outage, yesterday’s game could have put progress in the SML championship series after Rock Steady tied the series (1-1) during Game 2 last week, as Rangers who lack one player lost by a forfeit.

At 6:30 p.m., the sky was considerably bright for the game to move on to the eighth inning when Rock Steady just took the lead, 6-5.

Rock Steady’s John Mafnas pitched 8 1-3 innings before Roy Celis replaced him against Sakisat.

Kelvin Kapileo also lasted eight innings for Rangers.

And just as Celis walked Sakisat, to tie the game, it was decided that game can no longer go on due to power outage that came up earlier than expected.

Rocky Steady was leading the game 13-3 when Rangers ran short of one player, as umpires did not allow Kelvin Kapileo
