According to Bernice Ngirkelau, secretary of Palau UMDA shareholders Small Working Group that was established during the shareholders meeting on August 3, 2008, the shareholders will discuss, first and foremost, their positions on pertinent issues that were presented in Yap.
Further, she said, Finance Minister Elbuchel Sadang will be presenting results of meetings he had with Saipan officials – UMDA and government officials – regarding financial matters and obligations, which were raised in previous Palau shareholders meetings.“During this meeting on Tuesday, shareholders will be informed of the latest status of concerns that were raised during our prior meetings,” Ngirkelau said.Moreover, opportunities will be accorded any shareholder who has any additional concerns regarding his or her UMDA shares or any other related matter.All UMDA shareholders in Palau are asked to attend this essential meeting.
