Bonbon Cadagat of MIGS posted 31 points, five steals, five assists, and one rebound to bring his team to the final stretch of the game.
Moreover, MIGS’ Sonny Lerio poured in 32-point total in the entire game, paving the way for the team to secure a safe distance from Aon which gave a heavy defensive stand on their side of the court.
The first period of the match saw a close match between both teams as MIGS and Aon played “seesaw” of scores.
MIGS went for 15 points at the end of the initial quarter – only a two-point difference from Aon’s score.
The second period elicited more points from both teams as they outdo each other under the basket with several fouls committed on the hard court in the process.
MIGS stepped up their game by the third quarter, making sure that Aon get a dose of shots from the perimeter and inside the zone.
Aon was not able to bail itself out of the rut during the whole match as they scrounge for desperate points especially during the final minutes of the fourth quarter.
Although Jon Lim of Aon fired made a good showing on the floor with his fastbreak attempts and quick two-pointers, his point contributions were left in vain as MIGS let go of shots that connected to the basket.
