The flooding brought several inches of water and mud into the exhibit area and administrative offices.
The museum will be working to remove the water and mud, and rehang the exhibits over the next several days.
The museum will be closed to the public through Tuesday, Oct. 21.
The museum will be rescheduling all student visits, and presentation activities during this period.
