JOHN Michael F. Ramirez, Rosalie Blaza and Leah Aelynn Montealegre each received $100 from Marianas Variety News and the Marianas Visitor’s Authority for voting for their favorite places at the Best of the Marianas.
Ramirez, who works in a Mobil station said he is glad to have won the cash price after voting for his work place as his favorite gas station.
“I work in Mobil and I want to support our brand,” he said.
He said he voted through the traditional way of voting which is through filling up the ballot page on the MV newspaper and dropping it at the drop box.
Ramirez said his favorite restaurant is La Mesa Kusina where he always order “Sisig”.
Leah Aelynn Montealegre for her part said she will use the cash prize to gas up her vehicle.
“With gas prices going up, this cash prize is a huge help for me. $100 will have a long way to go,” she said.
Meanwhile, Rosalie Blaza said she voted because she wants to support her favorite restaurant Savory Restaurant.
She said she will send her cash prize to her love ones in the Philippines.
She is encouraging the community members to vote for their favorite establishment.
“You can gave instant cash just by supporting your favorite places. So what are you waiting for? Vote now!” she said.
The Best of the Marianas or BOM is a presented by Marianas Variety and the MVA to promote the businesses on island.
Voters can win $100 weekly cash prizes or a trip to Saipan or Rota for the grand prize.
