LAST Shot Darty Secret defeated Jonny’s Darty Queens, 8-7, in the ladies division of the SEDA Bud Light Dart League Monday at Last Shot Bar.
Both teams started as equals with the opening 301 Double In/Double Out game split evenly for a 2-2 deadlock.
But in the Partners Crazy Cricket game, Darty Secret’s Rena Reftang and Lily Kaipat, along with Melissa Somorang and Ketruth Sebangiol, triumphed for a two-win sweep and a 4-2 lead.
The Darty Queens tried to fight back but Darty Secret managed to hold their ground and split the remaining games en route to victory, 8-7.
Vicious vs Rookies
6JMS Vicious, the top team in the standings, slipped past the Rendezvous Rookies, 8-7.
It was a seesaw battle in the beginning as Vicious grasped the lead with a 3-1 run in the opening game. However, the Rookies quickly bounced back with a two-win sweep in the following Partners Crazy Cricket game to even the score, 3-3.
Both teams fought well but neither could gain the upper hand as they split the next three games. It came down then to the final Team 1101 game to determine the victor.
In the end, Vicious outgunned the Rookies to clinch the final win needed to secure the match, 8-7.
Also tasting victory were the number 2 team Oleai Tracy Smokerz who powered past 9 Eleven Chickazz Bull-It, 11-4.
