THERE is a lot of talk about how the Governor has posted his wife, brothers and other family members at the Polls for the early voting. The first thing that voters see at the Early Voting Site is the Torres Family which by their very nature is intimidating to voters but it won’t be enough to win, especially when it’s obvious the majority of voters are AGAINST Ralph Torres. WE have already seen ENOUGH of the ugly poli-tricks and it seems there is no end until we get rid of him. For me, I think by posting his family at the Polls it is a true sign of desperation given the overwhelming challenge, as Torres got a little more than 5-thousand votes but collectively the Independents and Democrats have over 9-thousand votes.
Ralph has only served to be one of the biggest embarrassments EVER in the history of the CNMI and it’s truly sad and even pathetic that so many voters are still following him. One can only pray his voters and for him, as he must still face our State Court that will be followed by a Federal Court. But he is the Governor and for some reason his voters think he is “Innocent & Resilient to a Conviction and our Savior” which is truly madness for me. There is going to be some very embarrassed voters when this is all over as I will be able to say “I Told You So” and you didn’t listen.
I think many of the voters for Ralph/Poor-Vinnie don’t understand the magnitude of a RICO Investigation that is not even started without a clear path for “a or many convictions.” I also reminded voters in a previous op-ed that the Feds are just sitting and waiting for the Elections and the State Court to finish with Ralph. WE the People have seen more Pho to Ops in this election season than we saw during his entire term in the last four years. Ralph has also been in office for 7-years and under normal circumstances he would be through anyway but he poli-tricked us by refusing to have a special election when Governor Inos passed away — more poli-tricking. This guy has been scheming and manipulating our government, our money and our people and now it’s about to end these embarrassing episodes that seem to have no end under Torres.
Retirees are sick and tired of one embarrassing “poli-tricking show after another every time it’s time for the 25% and don’t mention the “fake-bonus” that should be a real “cost of living increase” which would be more for Retirees. But Republicans changed the wording to “bonus” so they could give retirees whatever they wanted — poli-tricks! But it was funny to me how he tried to “bluff the House this last time on the 25% but they called his bluff” and he magically found the money. If you think Ralph has done some embarrassing things, just wait until after the State Court and the Feds finish with him and then you will truly see how embarrassing Torres has been to the CNMI.
But thankfully the AD Team are offering real change with trust and improvements in our government, our economy and our quality of life. WE the People can’t afford to go back to the same-old-thing with Ralph who had his chance for 7-years that has been one embarrassment after another. If Ralph continues the CNMI is going to finally be on CNN but it won’t be pretty and in fact it will be embarrassing, especially when the Feds arrest him, a sitting Governor. Avoid the embarrassments and vote AD! One People One Direction for NEW & BETTER Leaders!
