DINO B. Tabion has admitted to the police that he sexually assaulted a minor, the Department of Public Safety said.
According to DPS, on Monday, Aug. 29, around 8:28 p.m., police received a call regarding a “sexual harassment” complaint in Dandan.
Officers were dispatched to the location and met with the caller who accused Dino Tabion of sexually assaulting her minor daughter.
The caller stated that Tabion was in contact with the minor through social media.
Police then interviewed Tabion who, DPS said, admitted to sexually assaulting the minor.
On Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022, around 10 p.m., Judge Kenneth L. Govendo signed and issued an arrest warrant for Tabion for the charge of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree with bail set at $25,000.
On Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, at approximately 9 a.m., Tabion was arrested in Fina Sisu and transported to the Department of Corrections where he was booked and detained.
No other details about the defendant or the case were available as of press time Wednesday evening.
