IN the battle between the top two teams of the SEDA Bud Light Dart League-Latte Stone Tuesday “B” Division, Oleai Aimrite emerged victorious against Last Shot NoSkillJustLuck, 8-7, on Tuesday at Last Shot Bar.
The teams were equally matched as the first singles and partners games were split for a 3-3 deadlock.
Aimrite then established control with Patrick Cruz and Alex Villazon claiming the first round while teammates Tim Deleon Guerrero and Chicko Arurang swept the Partners 501 game for a two-point lead.
NoSkillJustLuck fought back, splitting the Singles Regular Cricket and Partners Half-It games and notching the final Team 1101 game, but it wasn’t enough, and they had to bow down to Aimrite, 7-8.
In other matches
Safehouse Deez Darts also survived a nail-biting match by edging the Tambayan Boys Kill 5, 8-7.
The Deez Darts set the tone early with a 3-1 run in the opening 301 Double In/Double Out game thanks to Carlos Rivera, KC Yangilmau, and Hekido Helgen. They then held Kill 5 at bay by splitting the remaining games of the match to secure the win.
For their part, Bistro Bulachelus defeated Just Chillin’ Team Kalakas, 9-6, while Jonny’s PU IN SAI bested Rendezvous Ngarangever, 9-6.
