(Press Release) — The Amelia Earhart Saipan Memorial Monument Inc. group is celebrating Amelia Earhart’s 125th birthday on July 23, 2022, Saturday, at the American Memorial Park indoor theatre from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
AESMMI is inviting the descendants of the local “Eye Witnesses” to join us in sharing the stories with those interested.
Some of the known “Eye Witnesses” are Josephine Blanco (Akiyama), Matilde F. Arriola, Joaquina Muna Cabrera, Jose Sadao Tomokane, Manuel Aldan, Carlos Palacios, Antonio M. Cepeda, Pedro Sakisat, Gregorio Camacho (Ellis), Francisco Diaz, Jesus Boyer, Francisco Tudela, and Jesus Salas.
