Acme Roofing faced off with the league’s no. 2 team, Enyophace, in three sets.
Acme Roofing lost the first set to Enyophace, 15-21, but recovered from defeat with sharp returns and clever fine approach to the net on the second and third sets, posting 21-17, 15-10.
Enyophace tried to close in on Acme Roofing during the third set, with careful positioning of their players at the net. They were successful to a certain extent but came in short in the offensive as Acme Roofing crew covered their grounds for some good save and recovery.
Luthor Taylor of Acme Roofing took to the side of the net at match point with his high jumper and made a quick spike which went unanswered by the other team.
Acme Roofing swept all 10 preliminary matches in the league, and reigned in the playoffs, beating two tough teams – Off Twice and Thai One On, on their way to the finals.
