The criminal case 07-135 filed against Taunton and Llecholch was dismissed by Chief Justice Arthur Ngiraklsong on September 11, 2008.
Criminal 07-135 is unlawful issuance of checks. Taunton and Llecholch were both charged with three counts of unlawful issuance of checks.Independent Counsel Lewis Harley submitted motion to dismiss the information in the criminal case 07-135 on September 10 which was granted by the court.The court dismissed the information against Llecholch with prejudice while the information against Taunton was dismissed without prejudice.Harley cited the same reason for dismissal that Taunton has fled and cannot be located as of this time, and dismissal of the case is in the public interest and for the purpose of fair administration of justice.The criminal case 07-156 filed against Taunton, Llecholch, John De Vivo and Deborah Rengiil was also dismissed on October 3.The information against De Vivo and Rengiil were dismissed with prejudice while the case against Taunton and Llecholch were dismissed without prejudice.
