They are Agro-tourism, fruit extension, taro extension pro and compost extension project.” There are more than 2,500 tourists visited the TTM farm this year. Chiang said that in 2004, the mission assisted two guava farmers who have planted 70 guava trees.

“To date, the mission has assisted 29 farmers who have cultivated a total of 1,158 guava trees. Nowadays, guava has become the most important tropical fruit trees in Palau. Aside from guava fruit trees, the mission will also assist farmers in growing dragon fruit, papaya, and star fruit,” Chiang said. Chiang also explained that the compost project which is the totally new project to the governor, The Compost project was in charge by Richard Hung. Richard explained that the mission mixed the weeds and smashed sticks, the junk from the farm with smashed tuna fish head and piled the mixture up for about four months.
