According to Ngarchelong Gov. Browny Salvador, co-chairman of the committee, members of the subcommittees have arduous tasks ahead of them.
Former Aimeliik Gov. Demei Obak is the other co-chairman of the transition committee. Businessman Yoichi Singeo is the advisor.Nine subcommittees are now making recommendations of possible changes regarding the operations of the eight cabinet ministries and the offices of the president and vice president.The heads of the subcommittees are former Vice President Sandra S. Pierantozzi, Charles Wong, Demei Obak, Dr. Stevenson Kuartei, Charles Obichang, Moses Uludong, Airai Gov. Victoria Kanai, Isaac Soaladaob and Steven Kanai.Salvador said the members of the subcommittees were selected based on their abilities, knowledge, and experiences.The transition committee also has a general staff headed by Gale N. Ngirmidol and Joyce Rdialul to ensure that internal operations of the transition office are coordinated; and a public relations/media staff led by Earnest Ongidobel and Jerome Temengil.Salvador said all members of the transition committee have been working long hours — from early morning to late at night — to ensure that the transition does not run into glitches.
