David did not hide his thirst for the Pacific Extreme Combat belt that he desired to win but failed two years ago in Guam.
“I’ve fought for it but I lost. It was a mess up loss. I broke my knuckles and I wanted a rematch which I did not get,” Davis said as he recalled how he watched Aiken won the belt he dreamed of, when the “The Predator” defeated its holder — Manny Chong.
“I feel hunting dead and I’m ready to go to war,” says Davis who vowed not to miss every bit of chance to take Aiken down.
“If I can get a knock out chance I’m going for it,” he said.
Aiken on the other hand, just remembered the day he won the belt from Chong— the man Davis wanted to beat for the belt but failed during one of the PXC events in 2007.
Davis suddenly broke into the cage shouting “That’s my belt, that’s my belt,” shortly after Aiken knocked Chong out in the first round.
That rang the bell for every MMA promoters and fans who witnessed the scene that night.
Aiken said the PXC guys around immediately brought out the idea of putting up a fight between him and Davis.
It did not materialize however because unfortunately, Aiken lost the belt to Roque Martinez during another PXC fight in 2008.
Although Martinez now holds the championship, Aiken is still the No. 1 contender in PXC fight so whatever comes out in Battle Ready tomorrow will definitely make them collide again and this time, for the PXC belt that Davis had been longing for.
“It’s been two years and now and he looks good which shows he has been working a lot,” Aiken shares his observation of Davis.

For Kelvin “The Big Hit” Fitial, the Battle Ready tomorrow “means a lot to me.”
“I’m representing the island and going there and do all my best and make the island proud,” he said.
Fitial who had been training hard wants his opponent put up his best fight.
“I want him to do whatever he trained for in his own camp to make it a real good fight,” he said.
But for Ed Carpenter, he said that Battle Ready is just another fight to win “like I always did.”
Carpenter who will be fighting his fifth tomorrow never tasted defeated since he entered MMA last year.
