Live fire releases on FDM
(EMO) — The U.S. military will conduct live fire releases tomorrow, April 7, on Farallon De Mendenilla.
Due to the danger imposed by this activity, Gov. Benigno R. Fitial is strongly advising the public, especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators, to stay away from this area during the time and date indicated.

NMC Charter Day Committee invites vendors
(NMC) — Northern Marianas College’s Charter Day Committee is inviting different agencies, businesses, clubs, and other civic organizations to participate in the upcoming Charter Day celebration.
Organizations may purchase booth space for the following categories: food/drink, specialty drinks (e.g. coffee coolers or pearl shakes), games booths, and retail (arts and crafts, toys, etc).
The deadline to submit applications for booth spaces is on April 24.
Booth space is limited, so applications should be submitted as soon as possible.
The Charter Day Celebration will be held on May 8 at the As Terlaje campus from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The event is one of NMC’s largest and most-attended events.
This year, the celebration will showcase a broad range of entertainment, including a variety of live band performances, the highly anticipated “Marianas Idol Contest,” and cultural dance presentations.
You may reserve booth space by paying the $100 one-time fee, which covers the tents booth and access to 110v electricity outlets.
