In his remarks, Simina said, “Four years ago, in the same room, in the same month, I told you that we were going to face challenges and some people forgot that. Let me remind you that for the next four years we will face new challenges in the efforts to make Chuuk a better place to live. We need your help even more!”
Due to the short timeframe from the final election to the date that the Chuuk Constitution sets out for the swearing-in ceremony, the actual inauguration ceremony will be postponed until sometime next month.
