Nekaifes, the winner for the sales category, was nominated by her manager, Tatsuhiko Chubachi.
Nekaifes is very observant and makes every possible effort to find out customers’ need.
Then, if the merchandise a customer is interested happens to be out of stock, she takes immediate contact to find it at another location, or report to her manager not to disappoint her customer.
In addition, she is excellent at building good rapport so that customers remember her and like to come back to her to shop more.
Nekaifes has been with DFS since Aug. 1997.
Dikito, the winner for the support category, was recommended by Anita Aldan, team leader, Airport Galleria.
Dikito takes care of staff scheduling and all sorts of documentation as a secretary.
However, her responsibility far exceeds this as she devotes herself to help the staff on the sales floor.
Everybody depends and relies on her.
She does not mind adjusting her time at the last minute to accommodate our business, and yet her attendance is always perfect and her support is excellent.
Dikito was hired in Oct. 1994.
Both employees received a framed employee of the month certificate, a $100 cash award, and VIP parking for one month.
They are now eligible candidates for the 2009 DFS Employee of the Year Award in their categories.
