Representatives of participating Pacific countries made presentations and showcased PRIDE activities in their respective countries.
Representing Palau Ministry of Education to the PRIDE/Forum education ministers and directors meetings and conferences in Tonga were: Minister Masa-Aki Emesiochl, Director Emery Wenty, Chief Sinton Soalalblai, and Chief Raynold Mechol.According to Mechol, the conferences and meetings lead to opportunities for the participating countries to celebrate and share successes within their respective educational system and at the same time, take part in the discussion and exploration of future regional strategies and actions that not only promote education for all Pacific children but ensure that in the end each country prospers.
