The Heinz-Arnold tandem, he said, is not underestimating the rival team of former Gov. Juan N. Babauta and Board of Education member Galvin S. Deleon Guerrero.

“A lot of people are very receptive — most of them, even those who are committed to the other candidates, give us time to talk to them. We are humbled by their kindness,” he said.

The speaker said he and Hofschneider discusses CNMI issues with the people.

“We hear their frustrations and we assure them that we will do something about their concerns,” he said.

Palacios expects a good turnout for the GOP’s open primary next month.
