Opening match will be between J. Trading Jaguar against the PIA – Slashers who have drubbed them three times in three meetings last season of the FBL. Coming out from a spectacular win against a powerful team Palau Nationals last weekend, Slashers have remained focused and consistent to their game and would be determined to prove their might as they will try to get another win from the underdogs, Jaguar team. On the other hand, missing the rebounding capability of their bigman, Phillip Manago and the defensive toughness of their guard Ricky Erese, the Jaguar team will be relying on “the Jet” Lanzuela, “the Bomb” Aguinaldo, and “Rat-Rat” Ratunil in trying to beat the momentum of the PIA – Slashers.
In other matches, Rangers will meet with the Palau Natioanls on the second while Ilocandia – Bulls faces the Western Union for the third.
