The different events showcased were the Canoe Mixed V6 Regatta, 4 on 4 Co – Ed Beach Volleyball, the Ladies Bottom Fishing Derby, and the Sports Fishing Tournament on who will catch the biggest fish of them all. In addition to Sports, the occasion also connected with the Belau Medical Society to promote Healthy Lifestyle by putting up a booth within the vicinity to render services that includes Blood Pressure Screening, Information on Swine Flu, Blood Sugar Testing, Stress Screening and Counseling and more. The Palau Chamber of Commerce through the efforts of Director Tmetuchel Baules also joined the juncture by bringing the Junior Achievement high school kids who endorsed different types of products for the company that they came up with.
Winners of the Sports Fishing Event was also treated with a great dinner at the same place Monday, 11th of May to give awards and credits to the Fishermen and their crew who have successfully won their respective categories for the Annual Fishing event.The 2009 Etpison Cup was made possible by the auspicious support of Shell – Palau, Bank of Hawaii, The Palau Pacific Resort, Neco Yamaha, Budweiser, Drop-Off Bar and Grill, and Mr. Shallom Etpison.
