Man in theft case summons in court

Nahid H. Chowdury was ordered to appear on June 17 at 10:30 a.m. for arraignment.

Chowdury was charged on May 19 for allegedly stealing $8,250 worth of hardware items from his work place on April 30.The affidavit of probable cause submitted in court stated that an off duty police officer called on April 30 and reported a theft incident at the KR Hardware.The cop reported about stolen items kept at the Sure Save barracks in Meketii.When police responded to the site, they met the officer and the manager of the KR Hardware.The court document stated that the manager found the items inside Chowdury’s barrack.The manager went to check on Chowdury after a worker reported that he found several items at Chowdury’s car.When the worker and the manager opened Chowdury’s barracks, they found bundles of assorted ropes, tools, and household materials at the room.The items were all products sold at KR where Chowdury is working.The items were still sealed and not in the inventory account yet, the document stated.Chowdury was in charge of the weekly inventory at the said establishment, the document added.
