LAST Shot Hobbies Sharks remain the apex predators in the Tuesday division of the SBA Budweiser Open 8-Ball League 2025, improving their record to 89 wins after defeating the Black 8 Noypi Strikers, 9-4, at the Last Shot Bar in Chalan Kanoa on Tuesday night.

From the opening racks, the Sharks showed sharp focus and consistency, sweeping all four games in the first Singles 8-Ball set. Rolly Villanueva led the charge, leaving his opponent with six balls still on the table. Joining the sweep were PJ Ramos, Frankie Blas, and Drake Taitano.

The momentum carried into the Partners 8-Ball segment, where Villanueva and Ramos teamed up to edge the Noypi Strikers’ Domino Antonio and Rjhay Singca. Blas and Taitano then defeated Joel Buniag and Lito Pangilinan, extending the Sharks’ lead to 6-0.

In the second Singles 8-Ball set, the Noypi Strikers mounted a brief comeback, with Jonathan Soriano besting Ramos and Antonio defeating Villanueva to split the games 2-2.

Although the Strikers could not avoid defeat, they continued to rack up points, claiming both games of the second Partners 8-Ball set to narrow the gap. But the Sharks’ Villanueva and Ramos closed it out, winning the third and final Partners 8-Ball game to seal the match, 9-4.

Also entering the winner’s circle were Black 8 Crooked Arrow, with 56 wins after defeating Black 8 Rack N Roll, 9-4, and Black 8 Ideal Signs Rustler, who edged Last Shot Golden Breakers, 7-6.
