(Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.) — As of Feb. 13, 2022, there were 8 individuals hospitalized as a result of Covid-19: two were unvaccinated, six were vaccinated, and one of eight was on a ventilator, CHCC reported on Sunday evening.
177 additional individuals have been confirmed positive for Covid-19, bringing the CNMI total to 7,530 cases since March 26, 2020. The individuals have been isolated and are actively monitored.
Of the 177 cases identified in the community on Feb. 12, 2022, seven were identified on Tinian and two on Rota.
Individuals who test positive for Covid-19 should stay home and isolate when they are sick (except to get medical care), even if they do not have symptoms. They should rest and stay hydrated. They can take over-the-counter medicines, such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen, to relieve symptoms, and live Covid-19 safe.
Individuals experiencing Covid-19 symptoms should stay home and live Covid-19 safe (except to get medical care or get tested for Covid-19). There were no vaccination operations on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022.
The vaccination statuses of the 177 new cases identified are pending verification.
A total of 591 Covid-19 tests were conducted on Feb. 12, 2022:
259 via Community-Based Testing;
302 at Koblerville Covid-19 Community Center; and
30 at the Rota Health Center.

Of the total cases identified, as of Feb. 12, 2022, there were 5,547 recoveries and 1,960 active cases.
