The curriculum consists of five courses — Basic Korean Language, Employee’s Korean Language, Traveler’s Korean Language, Korean as Second Language 1 and 2.
The center also provides information regarding Korean history, legends, traditions, manners, religions, music, arts and language. Some electronic files are provided free.

(DEQ) — The Division of Environmental Quality says that transportation permits will not be required for the purpose of transporting pesticides as part of the amnesty collection.
The amnesty, a project spearheaded by DEQ in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency will take place on Saipan, Thursday, July 16; on Rota, Friday, July 17; and on Tinian, Saturday, July 18.
DEQ encourages farmers and businesses that apply pesticides such as golf courses, hotels, and termite and pest control businesses — to participate in this one time opportunity. This program is free.
Senate public hearing
(CNMI Senate) — The Senate Committee on Resources, Economic Development and Programs has rescheduled the public hearing on June 10 and 18.
The hearing will discuss Senate Bill 16-50 — “To provide relief to Commonwealth Development Authority borrowers and for other purposes.”

NMC offers Korean language course
(NMC) — Northern Marianas College, through its Division of Community Programs and Services-Community Development Institute, is offering short-term classes to interested individuals who wish to improve their Korean language skills.
This course is an intermediate conversational course designed to reinforce the fundamentals of the Korean language, as well as to improve students’ proficiency in the Korean language.
The course will begin on June 19 and end on July 28. The fee is $60.
