PAIRE Football Club 2 defeated Saipan International School 2-0 in the finale of the Japan Football Association/NMI Football Association All School Festival Saturday at the NMI Soccer Training Center.
Seven teams participated in the tournament: Tan Holdings Football Club fielded three, Paire Football Club had two, Shirley’s Football Club, and Saipan International School
In the preliminary round, Paire Football Club 2 and Shirley’s Football Club stood out with 3-0 and 2-0 win-loss records in their respective groups.
In the semifinals, PFC 2 blanked THFC 2 5-0, but SFC was demolished by SIS which won 6-1 to advance to the championship round.
In the title match, PFC 2 maintained the perfect run, thanks to the efficiency of Jazzroy Villagomez who delivered two unanswered goals to give his team the championship.
PFC 2’s roster consisted of Beatrice Gross, Windsor Gross, Jazzroy Villagomez, Austine Aldan, Dyson Danis, Joey Mostales, Keoni Ruszala and Angel Demapan Jr.
The SIS team members are Elizabeth Culp, Leilani Ruszala, Jude Rayphand, Fin Altizer, Dean Duenas, Yutaro Kitagawa, Quido Jambor, Juwon Lee, Yun Hee Woo, Landon Pudney and Theo Joab.
