The opening of this year’s Belau Softball Tournament was scheduled for Aug. 23 at the Dandan Softball Field.
The weekend Marianas Cup event was also set for the same date at the Miguel “Tange” Basa Pangelinan Softbal Field.
Since the said ball filed is under renovation, the Marianas Cup that can not be called off must be held some where else.
Belau Softball Association president Brian Adelbai in an interview said, since their own softball season will run for many weeks, it’s okay to adjust the schedule.
So instead of Aug. 23, they are rescheduling the Belau Softball opening games to Aug. 30.
The Marianas Cup on the other hand will move ahead but in Dandan Ball Field instead of Tange.
