Who removed all the mechanics during the 15th Legislature in 2007 comprised of majority COVENANT members in order to push the privatization efforts of our power plants?
Today, the governor and CUC’s executive director are boasting Power Plant 1 of producing 35.5 megawatts. What ever happened to the “never before seen power generation” of 80 megawatts promised by the governor during his State of the Commonwealth Address twice? Is Power Plant 2 back on line? Is this 35.5-megawatt power production include the 15 megawatts at Power Plant 4? If so, then the total production is actually 20.5 megawatts.
Where is our back-up power generation? How many engines are actually operating at Power Plant 1?
Can this 35.5 megawatts of power production sustain its capacity once the 600 or more consumers disconnected reconnect and are back on line?
What about the megawatt capacity the hotels require?
We believe that each hotel requires approximately 1.2 megawatts with Palms Resort needing over 3 megawatts.
Add all these critical factors and see what the total megawatts are left after deducting from the 35.5 megawatts being boasted by the governor and the executive director of CUC as supposedly an achievement.
STOP FOOLING THE PEOPLE OF THE COMMONWEALTH!
