Aquino was exchanging shots against DCCA’s Connie Camacho who cut the lead into four points by firing two consecutive perimeter shots before Ponce Rasa tied the game in the last minute of the final quarter.
Aquino basketed a tie-breaking two-pointers and Arreza poured another two points to cap their 78-74 victory.
Edmark Mendoza also added 17 points.
High flying Rasa led DCCA as he scattered 23 points in the court and Peter Camacho chipped in 15 points.
CHC 86, BoG 82
Joe Tudela exhausted all his foul credits at the time they needed them most to put clamps on Bank of Guam’s offense and the Commonwealth Health Center avenged its loss to Public School System.
Edgar Pangelinan a three-pointer and helped CHC inched its way up with two free throws in the fourth quarter.
Pete Iguel moved BoG a bit to a two-point lead but Tudela’s towering offense in the center took it back then, basketed a fouled attacked to pull CHC farther way to a five-point decisive lead.
Power forward Dr. Richard Brostrom who just came back from vacation was as tall as Tudela so he completed CHC’s twin tower that gave BoG a hard time to alter CHC’s 86-82 win.
Tinian 90, CPA 73
Ian Cruz blasted with two three-point shots and Leo Pascua picked up foul when while basketing his rampaging running shot then, hit the two free throw shots to complete the four-point opportunity to help Tinian rout Commonwealth Ports Authority, 90-73.
Rengul Reyes registered 22 points while Juan Santos helped him out with 15 points.
Leo Apelo was the hit man for CPA firing 25 points followed by Chris Camacho who scored 21points in a losing attempt.
