According to competition coordinators, the event which started last Saturday, 5th of September, shall be held for two more Saturdays that will showcase different teams aiming for extraordinarily designed awards. The race is detailed as 500 and 1,500 meter sprints on September 19 while the middle distance set for September 26.
In other news, the Canoe Association of Palau (CAP) would like to also expose that they will be hosting two more sprint races prior to Micro Cup Weekend in Saipan whereas on the month of October a long distance are set paddlers with the dates of the event shall be made available at a later time.CAP also continues their on going practice sessions and still teaches interested individuals who wishes to gain knowledge on how to steer, tie, and learn more about the sport of canoeing and paddling every Wednesday starting September 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Riptide Beach Area with Senior Paddlers and Coaches assisting.
